The Kenya Union of Clinical Officers has stood out as a trade union with exceptionality in its approach to various matters. Instead of using a conventional antagonistic approach to disputes, KUCO has continued to excel in the use of Alternative Dispute Resolution mechanisms.
The union is very strategic, open-minded, and consultative in seeking to meet its objectives and conduct its mandate. This approach to issues has made the union stand out as unique in the labor industry. Indeed this has been cemented by the prestigious accolade of the “Pacesetter Union of the Year Award” awarded to KUCO for two consecutive years, 2020 and 2021.
